DevalVR plugin software by Phoscode is free! It is a lighter download alternative to using QuickTime software to view Quicktime VR panoramic images in .mov format.

It has some great features eg fullscreen viewing, magnifier and Continuous rotation at the click of a button!

The HTML can be written in such away as to launch the image in Quicktime if DevalVR is not installed.
